- We arrange repairs and maintenance of Common Property
- We negotiate with service providers specifications of repairs and maintenance
- We administrate employee payroll and related payments
- We provide guidance on labour laws and obtain references from consultants
- We assist with employee contracts and advise on disciplinary hearings and – procedures
- We assist with obtaining Scheme insurance values for Schemes
- We arrange insurance cover for the Scheme as required by Law and / or additional insurance
- We lodge insurance claims with the broker.
- We pay monthly expense such as council accounts and insurance premiums
- We pay other payments as authorized by the Scheme Executives
- We keep detailed records of all our administrative tasks
- We collect contributions (levies) and other charges from owners
- We assist in preparing an annual budget for the Scheme’s financial year.
We help appoint your preferred insurance broker or insurance company and have a professional working relationship with insurance brokers specialising in building insurance. This relationship leads to improved assistance and dealings to the benefit of the Scheme.
We assist the Scheme’s insurance broker with the lodging of- and pay-outs of claims and, depending on the insurer, can help with arranging an insurance-approved contractor for insurance-related repairs.
Huurkor Admin’s Metering Services offers Community Schemes a comprehensive meter reading and administrative (recovery) service for the Scheme’s utility services, be it electricity, water and sanitation, or both.
As the bulk utility account holder, the Community Scheme is the service provider to the individual units. Huurkor Admin’s Metering Services provides the necessary meter reading and administrative service to recover the costs from the units’ consumption.
The advantages of Huurkor Admin (Pty) Ltd Metering Services providing the meter reading and administrative services are:
- The individual units’ utility accounts are paid to the Community Scheme, who is the service provider.
